FILAMENT
3D Printing Filament
Magnacad offers a variety of specialized 3D printing filament to achieve your engineernig goals.
ABS – Flame Retardant |
Our flame retardant ABS filament is made using a premium UL94 V-0 rated ABS resin. This filament is ideal for applications that require self-extinguishing properties. (UL yellow card information available upon request.) |

PLA-High Impact |
VO3D is an easy-to-print, high-impact PLA filament based on patented nanotechnology. It has been developed by US scientists with the support of professional and hobbyist printers. This filament has been independently tested and demonstrated to be up to four times tougher than standard PLA from leading brands. This analysis was conducted using Notched Izod Impact Strength testing (ASTM D256). |

PLA Prime |
Polylactic Acid (PLA) is made with natural, renewable materials, such as starch, corn, or sugar cane. Because these materials make up PLA, it is better for the environment than other materials, and it can be recycled. PLA Prime is made from a higher-grade resin than our already high-grade PLA resin. PLA Prime is a great material for prototyping and aesthetic models. Due to the ease of printing, PLA Prime filament is a popular choice, not only for beginners but even pros. PLA Prime products are made with Virgin NatureWorks USA Ingeo resin and high-quality colorant only, with no fillers. |

PolyPropylene - P-721 |
The polypropylene filament ‘P-filament 721’ offers excellent 3D printing performance with low warpage and shrinkage combined with extremely high layer adhesion. Printed parts of ‘P-filament 721’ are very break-resistant, and have very good mechanical properties, excellent chemical resistance, good temperature stability, and low friction resistance. Due to its low density, it is excellently suited for lightweight construction. Applications ranging from technical components to individualized decorative and art objects to toys can be realized. The food safety of the PP starting material used opens up additional possibilities. |

PETG |
PETG (PolyEthylene Terephthalate plus Glycol) is a co-polyester used in 3D printing for its durability, impact resistance, and temperature resistance. PETG is the second most popular 3D printing filament behind the ubiquitous PLA. It has qualities comparable to ABS but can be printed without an enclosure or fume handling requirements. Unlike ABS, however, PETG cannot be vapor smoothed using acetone. Our PETG is made with Virgin resin and high-quality colorant only, with no fillers. |
