Mag-SHAPES

Mag-SHAPES is an IronCAD catalog exclusively developed by Magnacad, LLC which consists of various Intellishapes that are not found in the IronCAD “Shapes” catalog. Some shapes have built in intelligence and robust parametric edibility. We have also included the standard shapes from the IronCAD “Shapes” catalog for convenience.

We have copied the standard shapes from the core IronCAD catalog for more convienence.

	3D Point	A 2D sketch that acts as a 3D point in the 3D scene. The TriBall activates automatically on Drop for fast placement. It provides a simple and quick way to place points in 3D space typically used when routing wires, cables, tubing, and more. It also allows for snapping points for 3D curve creation and more.
	Block H=y	This additive shape aligns the "H" Sizebox handles with "Y" coordinate axis. The first letter indicates the Sizebox handle and the second letter indicates the coordinate axis it will align to. For instance, the W=y when dropped into a blank scene with have the "W" Sizebox handles aligned with the Y axis. This is ideal for starting new parts when you want to have the handles in a more logically coordinate manner possibly for CAM migration.
	Block W=x	This additive shape aligns the "W" Sizebox handles with "X" coordinate axis. The first letter indicates the Sizebox handle and the second letter indicates the coordinate axis it will align to. This is ideal for starting new parts when you want to have the handles in a more logically coordinate manner possibly for CAM migration.

	Golden Ratio	This is a "2D Shape" that has geometry predefined for the Golden Ratio. It's useful headstart to designing various items.

	Sculpting	Web link to a free 3d sculpting platform to develop organic shapes that can be export in various formats and used in your IronCAD design.
	Unified Thread Profile	A variant 2D shape of UNC and UNF Thread profiles that is used in conjunction with the Thread feature tool. Simply drag into scene and select the desired Tab which indicates the thread per inch. Then use as your thread profile section.
