HELPing Hands
In a time when morality, leadership, and corporate responsibility seem to have been abandoned, we wanted to use “Giving Tuesday” as a launch pad for a new commitment. Magnacad as a company cares and wants to start a long-term initiative to help promote a better quality of life by supporting organizations that support that goal. As of December 2014, we have committed a portion of all profits to be donated to help support the organizations below under our "HELPing HANDS" intiative. We support organizations based on some simple principles; Integrity and Obscurity, meaning an organization that is typically overlooked in the mainstream arena and delivers a large percentage (if not all) proceeds to the needy. If you would like to recommend a organization, please do. Below is the current list of organizations we support.
Operation Underground Railroad
Since being founded in December 2013, OUR has gathered the world's experts in extraction operations and in anti-child trafficking efforts to bring an end to child slavery. O.U.R.'s Ops Team consists of former CIA, past and current law enforcement, and highly skilled operatives that lead coordinated identification and extraction efforts. These operations are always in conjunction with law enforcement throughout the world.
Mercury One
Mercury One is a 501(c)(3) charity that was founded in 2011 by media personality, entrepreneur, and New York Times best-selling author Glenn Beck. It was created to inspire the world in the same way the United States’ space program shaped America’s national destiny by setting a goal and committing to reach it against all odds. The only limitations to achievement are those we place on ourselves, and we believe in the goodness and power of the individual to overcome any obstacle.
