Named User Software License Instructions

Run the “License Management Tool” located under Start-Programs-IronCAD-20XX. Next, run the “Activation Wizard” to activate your product using the Serial Number and Codeword provided.

Hardware Key (“Dongle”) License Instructions

Insert the Hardware Key Device into the computer where your product is installed. Run the “Dongle License Management Tool” located under Start-Programs-IronCAD-20XX. Next, run the “Activation Wizard” to activate your product using the Serial Number and Codeword provided

Network and Network Client License Instructions

 Install the “Network License Utility” located on the IronCAD media under “Installs” onto your network server. Run the “Network License Utility” after the installation. Insert the Network Hardware Key Device into the network server. For each network client user, run the “Net License Configure Tool” located under Start-Programs-IronCAD-20XX. Enter the IP address that corresponds to the network server and save the file.

Note: For any additional instructions about licensing and instructions for Windows Vista, please visit www.ironcad.com/support or contact IronCAD support using the information below or your local reseller. Please make a copy and keep the original in a safe place. You will need this information if you have to reinstall this product in the future.

License Activation Wizard Improvements

To improve customer experience in downloading and using our applications, we have made improvements in the License Activation Wizard to clearly guide you to register license, see current licenses, and other processes.

Home or Mobile License

This is a free second instance of a valid license for active Armor Advantage™ support customers for use at home or for use when traveling. This license cannot be used as another independent license and by submitting this form, the submitter is agreeing to the terms described herein. This instance of the license will expire on the same date as the valid support license. NOTE: YOU MUST REQUEST A NEW LICENSE USING THE LINK BELOW EVERY TIME YOU INSTALL NEW RELEASE.

Third party add-ons will not apply to the second instance license. If you wish to use a third party on the second license, then either uninstall from primary license or purchase a second license for add-on.

You can submit a request for this license and make sure under the “License Type” field to select option 2 – “L2-Home or Mobile License”. An email with instructions will be sent to shortly thereafter.

Transferring your License

To transfer a license to a new PC (you must be online during this process): 

Run the License Management Tool from the Start>All Programs>IronCAD>IronCAD 20XX

Remove Licenses, answer Yes to both prompts.

Then, on the new PC, you can use the License Management Tool, “Activate a Software License” to enter your serial number and codeword to activate the license.
