Getting Started with Your Magna-MODELS

Congratulations on downloading your new Magna-MODELS! If you have not yet downloaded your files, click here.

Magna-MODELS function just like standard IronCAD catalogs and are opened and managed the same way within IronCAD. If you are already familiar with using IronCAD catalogs, you can skip this section and begin using your Magna-MODELS immediately.

If you are new to IronCAD, follow the steps below:

1. Locate your downloaded ZIP file and extract its contents.
• If you do not have a file extraction utility, we recommend 7-Zip, which is free to use.
2. After extraction, you will see the following folder structure:
• bin – Contains supporting media and documentation for your Magna-MODEL.
• License Agreement – Contains the license terms and conditions for using your Magna-MODEL.
• Catalog File (.icc) – The IronCAD catalog that you will open and use within any supported IronCAD solution.

Recommended Folder Structure

For easier management and future updates, we recommend creating a dedicated folder for each Magna-MODEL. For example:

m-SHAPES

Keeping each catalog in its own folder helps maintain an organized library and simplifies future releases and updates.
