Setting up your Magna-Catalogs.

Congratulations! You have downloaded your new Magna-Catalog(s). If you haven't downloaded yet, then please click here.

Magna-Catalogs are the same as standard IronCAD catalogs that come with your IronCAD solution. They are treated and managed the same way you would normally work with IronCAD catalogs. If you are seasoned IronCAD user, then you know the process of "Opening" and using catalogs and therefore you can skip this section and start using your Magna-Catalog.

For novice IronCAD users, please read on.

• Go the folder where you downloaded your file and unzip it. If you dont have a unzip utility program, we suggest using 7Zip and its free. Once unzipped you will see the following folder and file structure below:

• The first folder is the "Bin" folder that holds all the support media and ancillary documentation to support your specific Magna-Catalog. Typically theres no need to access this folder to use your Magna-Catalog (unless otherwise specified).
• Also you will see the "License Readme.txt" file that outlines the terms and conditions of using your Magna-Catalog.
• Lastly, is the actual catalog to be opened with any supporting IronCAD solution.

We recommend you create a dedicated Folder (and structure) to store and use your Magna-Catalog(s) such as "MagSHAPES" for the Mag-SHAPES catalog. This will help you manage and maintain future releases. See an example below of a organized folder naming and structure.
