Siemens is ramping up investments in the United States to support and benefit from America’s industrial tech growth.
“The industrial tech sector is the basis to boost manufacturing in America and there’s no company more prepared than Siemens to make this future a reality for customers from small and medium sized enterprises to industrial giants,” says Roland Busch, president and CEO of Siemens AG. The United States is already the largest market for the company, relying on American talent and American supply chains. The recent investments in the company’s U.S. manufacturing footprint and the planned acquisition of Altair, a MI-based software company, amount to more than $10 billion.

For decades, the American garment industry has struggled to compete with overseas manufacturing, where lower labor costs have driven much of the production offshore. But Ferrara Manufacturing is proving that high-quality, tech-driven garment production can thrive in the United States.
At its 50,000-square-foot Long Island City facility, Ferrara Manufacturing is investing in automation, workforce development, and innovative production methods to bring large-scale apparel manufacturing back to American soil. With a focus on premium, high-precision garments—including Olympic uniforms and military apparel—the company is setting a precedent for how domestic clothing production can remain competitive in an increasingly globalized market.

TriBall and IntelliShape Editing Support in Interference Detection List for Continuous Editing
IronCAD now offers an improved Interference Check tool designed to streamline the process of identifying and resolving interferences in large models.
Key Benefits:
Persistent Interference List:
Interference Pair List: The tool generates a list of all interference pairs, which is stored and accessible outside the command. This list remains available until the next interference check is run. The interference check tool remains active until the user closes the interference report dialog.
Integrated Tools:
Interactive UI: Double-click or click on an interference pair to zoom to the selection, with options to hide unselected parts. This allows users to address issues directly without exiting the dialog.
Selector and Edit with TriBall/IntelliShape Handles: Users can select on the parts in the Scene Browser to allow activation of the TriBall or access to IntelliShape handles, within the active interference check tool to allow interference areas to be fixed.
Seamless Transition: When the interference report dialog is clicked, other embedded tools will terminate, allowing users to select and fix the next interference parts efficiently.

Take a leap bag in time to meet IronCAD’s father, TriSpectives. This site provides a glimpse of how IronCAD began as an infant and may bring back some warm memories for many. Although the author of this course was incorrect in many of his technical statements it is still a nice way to take a step back in time. I hope you enjoy this little trip.
